Technical assistance
Support for the design, implementation and evaluation of projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The problem
Donor-funded projects rarely fail on the relevance of their purpose. They fail on procedure: blocked disbursements, non-compliant monitoring and evaluation, rejected financial statements, closure that drags on.
Our approach
We work at the level of the project teams, on the actual procedures of the donor concerned — IDA, AfDB, IFAD, EU, UNDP — rather than on a generic project management methodology.
Method
01Scoping
Interviews with stakeholders, document review and precise definition of scope. This step ends with a scoping note agreed before any work starts.
02Diagnostic
Analysis of the current situation against the applicable framework. Findings are supported by evidence and presented in a working session.
03Design
Development of arrangements, tools and procedures, built together with your teams rather than delivered as an external document.
04Support
Assistance with implementation through to the first deliverables your teams produce independently, with transfer of skills.
Deliverables
- Project design and scoping
- Disbursement procedures and financial management
- Results-based monitoring and evaluation systems
- Impact evaluation and project closure

Let's talk about your situation
A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right partner — and to say so plainly if we are not.
